Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CVAnalyze website and services operated by CVAnalyze ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CVAnalyze provides AI-powered resume analysis, ATS compatibility scoring, cover letter generation, and LinkedIn profile optimization tools. Our service analyzes uploaded resumes and provides feedback, scores, and suggestions for improvement.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial of Pro features. After the trial period, your account will revert to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan. No credit card is required for the trial.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice via email.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious files, viruses, or content that could harm our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI analysis algorithms
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account (unless on a Team plan)
• Use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all resumes and content you upload to CVAnalyze. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our analysis services. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content.

The CVAnalyze brand, website design, and proprietary analysis tools are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses AI to generate analysis, suggestions, cover letters, and other content. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee that following our suggestions will result in job interviews or employment.

8. Limitation of Liability

CVAnalyze is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime when possible.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
